DJI Mic Mini Review

DJI Mic Mini Review

Episode description

This is just a quick review of the microphones I use to make the show. They are the DJI Mic Mini. I am not being paid for this review, nor have I received any freebies. I paid for them and the review is my honest opinion.

Hello folks, this is not an actual Blackpool Pubcast episode, this is just a review of

0:06

my microphones which are the DJI Mic Mini. I got these the other day for the sake of

0:13

recording this podcast and I just wanted to show how impressed I am with them. I'm sat

0:20

here slouching back on my couch, I've got an air purifier running in the background so

0:25

there's a fan noise. I'm not going to actually edit this episode at all, I just wanted people

0:31

to see the quality that these microphones produce. I'm actually pretty impressed with

0:39

them, I'm really glad that I got them. I got them from Amazon for just under £100 and

0:46

I would highly recommend them to anybody who is looking for something to record a podcast

0:51

with. I can't guarantee that they would be perfect in everybody's situation but

0:57

for me they're pretty damn close. I have the microphone sort of

1:03

magneted on to my chest and I'm using the Samsung app on my phone to record this

1:12

and I will check through it but I'm pretty happy with the sound quality that

1:17

these microphones give. The noise cancellation is incredible, it has managed to block out

1:24

every noise in this room so far which is quite impressive because it is actually quite a

1:30

noisy room. It makes my already rubbish sounding voice sound a bit less bad than it actually

1:38

usually does. So yeah, I would highly recommend these microphones to anybody who is looking

1:44

for a set of lapel mics to record their voice. It saves sitting in front of a big bulky

1:51

microphone that I would normally have used for doing stuff like this. So yeah, check

1:57

them out. Let me know how you're going.
